Web Platform Tests
What it does
A cross-browser test suite for the web platform, containing hundreds of thousands of tests covering specs from the WHATWG, W3C, and ECMA. Test results are run against every major browser and surfaced at wpt.fyi, providing a ground-truth view of interoperability gaps.
Who is it for
Browser engineers tracking spec conformance and regressions, spec authors writing tests alongside their specifications, and web compat researchers identifying which features differ across browsers.
Where to find it
wpt.fyi for results. Source at github.com/web-platform-tests/wpt.
Who is maintaining it
All major browser vendors (Google, Mozilla, Apple, Microsoft) run the tests against their engines and contribute test cases. The infrastructure is operated by Google.
